Make Money from Home with an Adult Blog

This nude photo blog makes me hundreds of dollars a month even though I hardly post on it and it has several problems I’m too lazy to fix.

Want to do the same (without the problems)?

Here’s a quick how-to guide to building a money-making adult blog:

  1. Find an available domain name. A niche or fetish-oriented domain name will suit you well.
  2. Sign up for a hosting account at Dreamhost. Use the coupon code SAVE24 to get $24 off your hosting plan. Dreamhost is one of the only inexpensive hosts that allows adult content. Plus they give you your first domain name (the one you researched in step 1) free. They’re a green company, which is good for the environment, and even better, they make installing your blog software a snap with their one-click installation and automatic upgrades (many times better than Fantastico, if you’re familiar with that). Sign up here.
  3. Follow Dreamhost’s instructions on registering your free domain name and then under “Goodies” click the “One-Click Installs” then click “Install New Software — Advanced.” From there it is pretty clear what to do to install WordPress. Be sure to set up your email.
  4. Once your blog is up (could take a day or so), pick a WordPress theme you like. Dreamhost automatically gives you a bunch to choose from, or you can download more (or find out anything else you need to know about how to use WP) from the WordPress site.
  5. Sign up for affiliate programs that will send you free nude photos or free nude videos, plus give you a cut of any sales they make from traffic you send them. I make more money from this program than all the others combined.
  6. Depending on your niche, adult dating affiliates like Adult Friend Finder can also make you some money.
  7. Be sure to sign up for a FeedBurner account. Under “Publicize,” be sure to set up PingShot. Also make sure to use the FeedBurner FeedSmith plugin.
  8. Start blogging. Make sure you don’t do anything illegal. I can’t advise you on that.
  9. It’s a good idea to add a meta tag for RTA to help keep kids off your site
  10. It’s a great idea to start building a mailing list that visitors can sign up for. One way to do that is to have blog posts sent by email, and you can set that up through FeedBurner or another service. I prefer an autoresponder system, and this is the best autoresponder program I have seen. Be careful what you send and to whom — laws are getting stricter, so be sure to read up on it.
  11. Submit your blog to directories and rss syndication sites.
  12. Also sign up for Google’s Webmaster and Analytics services so you can see where traffic comes from, what keywords people use to find you, and any errors that are occurring on your site you might not know about. In your webmaster account, make sure you sign up for the Enhanced Image Search under Tools so that your images will find their way more easily into Google Image search.
  13. Once you have several posts, make a banner for your site (use a stock photo — you probably can’t use an affiliate photo), and sign up for some “top list” sites like you see in the bottom right of my home page.
  14. Tell Fleshbot and other adult site reviewers about your blog to get the traffic rolling.
  15. Keep producing content, write about the photos in your posts so search engines will know what your blog is about, use keyword-targeted “tags” and “categories,” and get as many links to your blog as you can.

This is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. For detailed instructions on how to use your WordPress adult blog to make a passive, residual income by working from home in your spare time, go here: Make Money with an Adult Blog.

It’s a report a friend of mine is working on that will guide you through the process more in-depth.

Personally, I really like that I can have a beautiful, fine erotic art blog that isn’t porno. It makes money. If there’s a niche you’re interested in that relates to eroticism or sex, you bet there are millions of other people like you. And plenty of photos and videos available for you to cash in on.
