Naked Malasana, or Garland Pose

Fiona here shows us a nude yoga version of malasana, also called garland or squat pose.

It appears she is squatting in an empty copse of some sort.

Garland pose is done by squatting down on your heels (the space where she’s practicing is too narrow for her to get her heels to the ground, it appears). Ideally, feet would be at least as wide as the hips. Then lean forward so the torso is between your thighs. Press your elbows into your thighs with hands in anjali mudra.

This pose is a great groin stretch (as demonstrated), and also tones the lower back muscles. Like downward-facing dog, this is also an excellent strengthener for the ankles.
