
Nude Shoulderstand Pose
Margo here demonstrates salamba sarvangasana, or supported shoulderstand.
This is a very bad example of sarvangasana, she is showing you what exactly you should never — and I repeat never do in shoulderstand, whether you’re doing yoga naked or with clothes on.
What’s the big deal, you may ask? It is extremely important not to turn the head in shoulderstand, it’s an easy way to slip a disk and do irreparable damage to the cervical spine.
Instead, look straight up at the toes. Relax the shoulders, neck and face as much as possible, but don’t turn the head!
Otherwise, Margo is demonstrating a beautiful pose, one long line from the shoulders up through the feet. She’s pointing the toes, usually it’s taught the other way around, reaching up through the heels with the toes pulled back, but there’s no “right” way.
Not to mention, a hot, young, blonde doing yoga nude? Exquisite.
